PF Advance:
Employee can opt for partial withdrawal (Non fundable) during service subject to on completion of 5 years of continuous service against submission of Form no 13 along with relevant documents for specified reasons as per act.
a. Purchase of Site /Flat/ Construction of House
b. Repayment of Housing loan
c. Hospitalization for more than a month for above ESI slab employees
d. Marriage of Self / Son / Daughter / Sister / Brother
e. Education of Son / Daughter for matriculation and higher studies
Loan Amount – This depends on the service period and the sanction amount varies from 80% to
100% of the PF Accumulations of the individual/employee.
Documents are to be furnished in support of the application for claiming the Advance.
PF Transfer:
An employee can transfer the PF Accumulations from previous employer to current employer through submission of Form 13(Revised) duly filling the particulars pertaining to the previous employment.
The duly filled in PF Transfer application has to be forwarded to your HR department at your office for further action.
PF Withdrawal:
Claim by the Employee
Employee can withdraw the PF Accumulations along with accrued interest (as declared by the Central Government from time to time) either on retirement or on leaving the service.
The Provident Fund accumulations can be withdrawn in full by submitting Form 19 application which is to be forwarded to PF Office through the employer.
The PF Withdrawal application of the respective employee will be submitted to the PF Authorities after relieving from the services.
A minimum of days will be taken by the PF Authorities to process the application and transfer the full & final PF amount to the individual’s Bank Account (as indicated in the application form)
Please ensure that the BANK ACCOUNT indicated in the application is kept active.
Claim by the Nominee/Family Members
In case of premature death of the employee, the Provident Fund is payable to Nominee’s or family members. The family member / nominee can claim the benefits by making an application vide Form 20 (PF withdrawal) & Form 10 D (Pension withdrawal).
How to check PF Claim Status
Use the below link to access the official KYCS (Know Your Claim Status) page at EPFO site. You can proceed with the given steps to check your EPFO claim status.

1.Click on above link and follow the option of ‘Click Here for Knowing Your Claim Status’ at this page.
2.Select your state and give a click on: ‘Search for Establishment Code’ link shown just below it.
3.If you know the region of your EPFO office, you can select the last option of ‘Establishment Under Office’. Choose the region of your EPFO office from the drop down.
4.The complete list with establishment code will appear on the screen. Establishment code is a numerical part of your 7 digit member Id. It is also further enhanced with 3 characters which is known as extension code.
5.If your EPF account number does not have any extension code (3 digits), just leave the field of extension code blank.
6.Fill up the region code and office code.
7.Enter Establishment code and Establishment code extension in the related fields.
8.Enter your provident fund account number
9.Click on Submit
Now you will get your EPFO claim status. The screen will show the status messages as applicable to your EPFO claim. If you do not want to check the EFPO claim status online, you can download the form online. Fill up the above details in the form and submit it at the EPF office. You can also get the form at the EPFO office itself.

Form2 (Revised) For giving Nomination for Provident Fund and pension and details of the members of the family. Any change in the information pertaining to the NOMINEES should be intimated through Form 2 to your HR at your office from time to time.
Form13 (revised) To transfer the Provident Fund Account on joining another establishment.
Form 31 To avail Advance / Withdrawal for various purpose (instructions enclosed).
Form 19 To withdraw Provident Fund amount by a Member
Form 20 To withdraw Provident Fund account of a deceased member by a Nominee / family members
Form 23 Provident Fund Annual Statement of Account to be supplied by the Commissioner every year through employer to the subscribers.
